The condominium had concerns over extremely high-water bills which were continually rising over the years. The condominium had exhausted recommendations for water conservation measures and still had no resolution to their expensive problem.

Having no way to determine why their condominium was using so much water they decided to initiate a water submetering program. Through their submetering program, the building did the following:
• Decreased annual operating costs
• Reduced monthly maintenance fees
• Encouraged resident water usage awareness

Total annual building consumption prior to submetering: 22,681 m3.
1st year savings 4,536 m3Â - $16,329.60 (18145 m3 for 20% decrease)
2nd year savings 5,897 m3 - $21,229.92 (16784 for a 26% decrease)
Future annual water cost savings of $18,779.76
This condominium continues to see monthly savings from executing their submetering program. Convenient monthly billing continues to encourage conservation and reduced monthly maintenance fees.
